OLD MASTERS
GEL STAIN
Old Masters Gel Stain is a highly pigmented, oil-based stain designed to achieve intense colors on interior and exterior wood, fiberglass, primed metal, and composition surfaces. Its thick formula allows easy application and superior color control, necessary to achieve a rich and uniform color on most surfaces in a single application.
Gel Stain is especially recommended for woods such as pine, birch, maple, poplar, and cherry. Gel Stain is excellent for vertical surfaces.
PENETRATING STAIN
This is a traditional oil-based wood stain. This product penetrates the wood’s surface to create vibrant colors that enhance the natural beauty of wood. Penetrating Stain is recommended for use on unfinished, interior wood surfaces or surfaces in which the previous finish has been removed. It is especially recommended for staining unfinished hardwoods, such as oak, ash, walnut, and mahogany.
STORM SYSTEMS
SOLID SYSTEM ACRYLIC STAIN
Our 100% Acrylic Stain is formulated to provide a matte finish, which is often the preferred look for applications such as window and door trim. Available in a wide range of custom colors, this stain is manufactured with quality ingredients and state-of-the-art technology to provide a long-lasting, freshly stained look. The matte finish should not be used on horizontal surfaces, such as decks.
ACRYLIC LATEX PRIMER
This exterior base coat is designed to help eliminate the natural tannin, sugar staining and discoloration produced by many types of bare woods. Storm System Acrylic Latex Primer has a unique moisture- transmitting formulation that provides excellent adhesion to properly prepared wood surfaces and is highly resistant to peeling.
TONED OIL FINISH
Available in six ready-mixed colors designed to accentuate wood’s natural beauty, Storm System Toned Oil Finishes combine penetrating exotic oils and transoxide pigments for unequaled product performance. Storm System’s unique formula provides a translucent coating that protects against the weather, UV rays and mildew*. It greatly enhances the coloration of hardwoods such as ipe, redwood, ironwood and mahogany. Toned Oil Finish also makes a great finish on cedar, pine, and fir when a more natural appearance is desired.
